BEAUTIFUL WEDDINGS

The Bell of Skenfrith is one of Wales’s most famous boutique hotels, as well as one of Monmouthshire’s most beautiful wedding venues, renowned for its romantic and stylish weddings.

Nothing is set in stone here!  We tailor each wedding to the individual couple. Our Head Chef will create bespoke menus for you and your guests, ensuring that all tastes and any allergies are catered for.  Just a few yards away, the village of Skenfrith has its own medieval church, St. Bridget’s. The Reverend will be more than happy to discuss and arrange blessings at the church, by prior arrangement.

With 11 beautiful bedrooms, some with four-poster beds, and all with ensuite bathrooms, The Bell can accommodate at least 22 people.  If necessary, we have a list of good, local accommodation for your other guests.  We have a beautiful country garden terrace and an elegant marquee which can seat up to 200 people in a combination of the marquee and restaurant, as well as an area for the dance band/dj and dance floor.

Alternatively, if you are just looking for a private room for a small wedding or celebration, our private dining room is the perfect venue.  In normal times*, it can seat anything from 12 to 60 people and you will have your own personal staff to look after you and your guests – see photographs below.

We will have as many meetings as it takes to ensure that your wedding day is as perfect as you want it to be.  We have many years’ experience organising weddings and can suggest good photographers, florists, musicians etc., all of whom we have worked closely with.
